About Us

Founded by Edikan “Edy” Bassey, Stonefield focuses on developing and depicting a broader American story that encapsulates the experiences of immigrants and how faith helps one navigate through life’s journeys. Growing up in Nigeria, Edikan and his siblings learned early on the importance of their Christian faith through their integral role in their church's ministry from a young age. They danced, played various instruments, and also facilitated various church events. After the Basseys immigrated to the United States, Edikan remained impassioned about storytelling and felt a deep calling to use his artistry and love for God in a unique way that positively impacted others. His brothers were supportive of his vision to create the storytelling brand which is Stonefield Productions. To date, Stonefield has produced several successful short films and plays.
